The awardees of the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) in 2022/23 are listed in alphabetical order of English Name below:
The scholarship is for students currently studying at all levels/years of HKMU full-time degree and sub-degree programmes with outstanding achievements or having achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.0 or equivalent and top 10% ranking of academic results of programmes.
The scholarship is to give recognition to students who have demonstrated achievements or talent in non-academic areas and provide support for these students to further develop their talent or potential. The awardees should also be able to demonstrate track records in the past three years of active participation in non-academic areas and have achieved a CGPA of not less than 2.5 or equivalent.
The award is for students to participate in learning, internship or service programmes as well as national, regional and international events and competitions that are conducted outside Hong Kong and organized/ endorsed by the University. These awardees should have attained a CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.

The award is for fresh graduates of 2022 and current students who have already completed two consecutive academic years of study in the 2022/23 academic year with a CGPA of not less than 2.5. These awardees should also have significant progress and improvement in the completion of their studies.
The scholarship is to give recognition to deserving students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the pursuit of excellence in academic and other areas. These awardees should have attained a CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
