Hong Kong Metropolitan University Entrance Sports Scholarship 2023/24

Introduction

The HKMU Entrance Sports Scholarship aims to support the academic pursuit of sports talents and to cultivate sports spirits and a balanced whole person development in the University.

Eligibility

• New students with outstanding achievements in international, national or local sports competitions.
• Local or non-local elite athletes who are admitted to full‐time Sub-degree programmes, Honours or Ordinary Bachelor's Degree programmes offered by HKMU (except LiPACE) through Joint University Programmes Admission System (JUPAS), National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) or direct application.

Award Details

The value of each award is up to HK$120,000* and a complimentary place in University's off-campus accommodation per year. The scholarship is renewable in subsequent normative period of study, subject to satisfactory academic and sports performance at HKMU.

*Due to tuition differences, local students will be awarded with HK$80,000 per year and HK$120,000 per year for non-local students.

2. For local applicants, please submit the application form of HKMU Entrance Sports Scholarship with the required documents online before December 31, 2022. If there are still places after the enrolment period, these places will be opened to subsequent application.
3. For non-local applicants, please submit the application form of HKMU Entrance Sports Scholarship with the required documents online before May 31, 2023.
