For the first time since its establishment, the Link University Scholarship was open to students from self-financing universities in the 2021/22 year, and eight HKMU students stood among a total of 13 self-financing university awardees. Set up to award university students who are the first among three generations in their families to attend university in Hong Kong, the scholarship offers each awardee HK$20,000.
兩支由商業學學生組成的隊伍，於專業的校際比賽中憑藉出色的意念和技巧脫穎而出。修讀商業智能及分析學課程的陳曉彤、陳雲龍、劉兆晞和譚喬參加由香港公司治理公會主辦的「企業管治論文比賽及報告」，贏得亞軍；而朱羿同、林懷高、廖文新和茅豪鈺則在「2022 滙豐 / 香港大學香港商業案例比賽」中取得季軍。
「領展大學生獎學金」2021/22 年度首次開放予自資大學學生申請，自資院校有13 名學生得獎，本校學生佔其中八名。此獎學金旨在獎勵家庭三代中首代入讀本地大學的學生，每名得獎者可獲港幣20,000 元。
