^ This programme is subsidized by the government under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP). The stated subsidy amount is for Academic year of 2023/24. The amount will be adjusted every academic year and actual subsidy amount is confirmed according to Government announcement.

Theme Parks and attractions are one of the main drivers of tourist visits to HK, the HK Disneyland Resort and Ocean Park Hong Kong have attracted some 6.7 million and 5.7million attendances separately in 2018.
Employment opportunities in the theme park and attractions sector is supported by the continuing expansion and development of new attractions by HK's two theme parks (Ocean Park and HK Disneyland Resorts) and Ngong Ping 360

Objectives
Upon completion of the programme, participants should be able to :
Entry Requirement
Applicants are normally required to have either one of the following qualifications:
Level 2 in 5 HKDSE subjects (including English and Chinese)^; or
Grade E in 1 HKALE A-Level (or an equivalent number of AS) subject(s); and
(i) 5 passes in HKCEE including English and Chinese*; or
(ii) 3 passes in HKCEE plus level 2 or above in English and Chinese*; or
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Associate Degree, Diploma or an equivalent programme (at QF level 3);
Satisfactory completion of Diploma Yi Jin ; or
Other acceptable equivalent qualifications (including non-local qualifications obtained in or outside HK, or other qualifications / experience deemed to be equivalent); or
Mature applicants who are 21 years of age or above with a minimum of 3 years' working experience will also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
^Applicants possessing an “Attained”, "Attained with Distinction (I)" and "Attained with Distinction (II)" in HKDSE Applied Learning (ApL) subject are regarded as equivalent to HKDSE subject at “Level 2”, “Level 3” and “Level 4” respectively, with a maximum of two ApL subjects can be counted for admission purpose.
* A pass in a quality-assured Applied Learning (ApL) subject is deemed to be a pass in one HKCEE subject. (Except Chinese Language and English Language)

Work-integrated Learning in Resort and Theme Park 度假區及主題樂園實習^
[1] Students who have attained Level 3 or above in DSE English Language can be exempted from taking English for Communication I.
[2] Non-Chinese speaking students can be exempted from taking Effective Chinese Communication Skills. To fulfill the overall credit for graduation, they are required to take a GE course as replacement.
^ Course includes not less than 400 practicum hours.

Year 3 of Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (1 year full-time) delivered by University College Birmingham and awarded by the University of Warwick, UK
Graduates may be admitted with advanced standing to a Japanese university that has MOU arrangement with LiPACE:

As part of their training, students will be placed in different theme parks and some other resorts in Hong Kong for internship. Those who have excelled in the internship may be offered a full-time position by internship providers.
